- An application by the City of Palmdale to develop a public park on 12.8 acres of a 24.9 acre site. The property will be developed in a minimum of two phases with only the first phase being permitted under CUP 11-006. Development within the first phase will include roadway construction along Avenue S and Hillcrest Drive, construction of a 870 square foot restroom facility, a shade structure over picnic tables, parking area, landscaping, fencing, pathways and associated lighting, and a multi-use field located within the existing detention basin with practice level lighting. This project was previously approved as CUP 07-17 and no changes to the previous project have occurred under this approval.
