Document Description
Repair and repave roads and parking lots by grinding and recycling existing worn pavement and/or repairing cracks, reapplying aggregate base, new asphalt, and slurry seal coats to the primary road along the California Aqueduct, including various parking areas and grounds around and near some pumping plants and public use areas. This may include repairing or replacing culverts and bar ditches in some locations, replacing guard rails or signs, and repainting traffic and parking stripes. No currently undisturbed ground will be impacted, and because various avoidance and minimization measures and environmental monitoring will be implemented during construction, no sensitive species or their habitat will be affected. Repaving roads benefits DWR personnel and the people of California by providing safe all-weather access for operations, maintenance, and public use of SWP facilities.
