Document Description
A Special Permit for tree removal in a residential zone. Approximately 200 Sitka spruce trees of 12 inches to 48 inches diameter at breast height within an approximately 2.9 acre harvest area are proposed to be removed. This will require approximately 25 truckloads total with no more than five truckloads on any given day. The approximately 19.4 acre parcel is currently developed with a mobile home park (Azalea Estates) with 30 manufactured homes. There is a single family residence on the easterly side of the property separate from the park. Water to the site is provided by McKinleyville Community Services District (MCSD). Most of the parcel is served by on-site sewage disposal; however, one unit receives sewer service from MCSD. No creeks or streams are near the project vicinity.
