Document Description
The project is the construction and installation of a boat dock for private use by the property owner. The floating dock will be 8 feet by 60 feet. The dock will require installation of four 14-inch diameter steel piles to anchor the dock structure. There will be a metal gangway that is 4 feet by 57 feet attached to a bridge that is 4 feet by 39 feet supported by two 8- to 10-inch diameter steel piles. The gangway will be anchored to a concrete landing on the levee crown with a maximum allowed size of 4 feet by 6 feet and anchored by two 8-inch diameter concrete-filled steel piles. A 6-inch diameter steel chase for electric and domestic water conduits for the dock would be installed by trenching at the levee crown.
