Note: FONSI FYI
The U.S. Coast Guard proposes to repair and replace facilities that have deteriorated over time to improve and maintain the structural integrity of a patrol boat pier and potable water line at USCG Station Monterey. The USCG proposes to remove and replace 17 timber piles supporting the eastern portion of the pier; replace the existing potable water line; and improve associated structures to maintain the structural integrity of the pier and potable water line. The project would involve replacing the timber deck and making several ancillary repairs to the pier deck and floating dock. Repairs to the potable water line would involve in-kind replacement of approximately 175 feet of galvanized piping.
