Document Description
The project would entail issuance of a use permit to allow for a temporary concrete batch plant to be established and operated over a 70-day period between May 2014 and July 2014. It's anticipated that during the first few weeks of the 70-day time period, the batch plant and ancillary features would be set up/developed on the project site, following which batching and delivery of concrete to an I-5 roadway rehabilitation project would occur over an approximately 40-day period. During the final few weeks of the 70-day time period, the batch plant would be decommissioned and reclamation initiated on the project site in order to make it available again for use as grazing land. The proposed batch plant is projected to produce 42,755 cubic yards of concrete for the Caltrans project. Concrete would be hauled to the Caltrans project using Copco Road and I-5.
