Document Description
The project applicant, MarketOne Builders, is proposing to redevelop a light industrial property at 1550 Pacific Street with four new warehouse buildings. The property is currently occupied by a vacant, approximately 157,826 sf building formerly used as a printing plant and distribution center for the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper (vacant since 2009). Four single-story rectangular buildings would be developed on the cleared site, providing a total of 300,620 sf of floor area. The IS analyzes 10 percent office space (30,062 sf) and 90 percent warehouse (including areas for processing, re-packaging, etc.) and / or light industrial space (270,558 sf).
