Document Description
Installation of Class II Bike Lane and Class III Bike Route facilities along approximately 7.5 miles of Neal Road in three phases from the Oro-Chico Highway to Bayleaf Road at the southwestern border of the Paradise Town Limits. The overall project includes pavement widening while the second phase includes overall roadway rehabilitation and drainage improvements. Work includes shoulder widening, asphalt overlay, shoulder backing, culvert extension, roadside drainage ditch improvements, new pavement markings, and traffic striping. Phase 1 currently funded through Federal Project No. RPSTLE-5912(090) involves shoulder and pavement widening and installation of Class II Bike Lanes from SR-99 to 4.7 miles eastward and installation of "Share the Road" signage along the unincorporated portion of Cohasset Road from the Chico City Limits approximately 11.5 miles eastward to Cohasset School.
