Document Description
Proposed Reclamation Plan, in accordance with the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA), Public Resources Code, Section 2770, 2772 and 2773, to provide reclamation of a 4.62 acre "Vested" mine site in Lassen County. SMARA mandates that a reclamation plan be submitted, which is applicable to a specific piece of property and based upon the character of the surrounding area. Additionally, said plans shall conform to minimum statewide performance standards required pursuant to SMARA Section 2773 (b), including but not limited to wildlife habitat, backfilling, revegetation, drainage, agricultural land reclamation, equipment removal, stream protection, topsoil salvage and waste management. The total disturbance boundary associated with the proposed Reclamation Plan 5.29 acres, which is required to incorporate the complete implementation.
