Document Description
The proposed Center for Novel Therapeutics (CNT) is intended to promote creation of new personalized therapeutics through research conducted by UC San Diego investigators and private sector collaborators in shared space. The proposed 110,000 gross square feet CNT building would include wet and dry laboratories, a small animal vivarium, core facilities, a biotechnology accelerator, human subject assessment areas (no patient care), offices, meeting space, and research support functions. The CNT would be adjacent to key research facilities, including Moores Cancer Center, the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, and the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute Building now under construction.
