The proposed project involves the following actions:
- Water Extraction. An application for a water appropriation permit to the State Water Resources Control Board to extract up to an additional 1,087 acre-feet per year from four existing wells servicing the North Perris Water System.
- Water Pipeline. The installation of approximately five miles of new underground pipeline to connect existing NPWS facilities with existing City facilities in the Downtown Water System.
- Water Mixing. The mixing of NPWS water and Downtown Water System water. The mixing of water would occur automatically once the connection is made at the proposed connection point located at the Perris Boulevard/Nuevo Road intersection.
