Document Description
The Project would consist of the construction of four new in-channel concrete water control structures and retrofitting one existing water control structure within Packwood Creek for improved recharge to groundwater supplies through surface water delivery within the channel. Project design features include installation, operation and maintenance of reinforced concrete structures with mechanically operated gates for the control of upstream water levels within the channel. Associated improvements would consist of raising upstream channel embankments no more than two additional feet in areas of depressed bank elevation for detainment of in-stream flows. Staging of heavy equipment would occur within the bank side areas of Packwood Creek at the construction sites.
