A number of entities upstream from the Delta have expressed interest in transferring water to the Participating Members of the SLDMWA. The project includes transfers of Central Valley Project (CVP) water or transfers that require use of CVP facilities. The water would be made available for transfer through cropland idling/crop shifting and groundwater substitution.
