Note: Reference SCH# 1991022072 The project would realign and widen a 4.5 mile segment of SR 180 near the rural communities of Centerville and Minkler. It would connect with the previously constructed Kings Canyon Expressway Segment 2 west of Smith Avenue, and would widen the existing 2-lane conventional highway to a 4-lane divided expressway. The purpose of the project is to improve continuity, safety, and capacity along SR 180 to and from Fresno and the areas east.
