Document Description
The proposed Project consists of the construction and operation of a groundwater well and connection pipeline to help meet peak water demands that occur within the Golden Hills Community Services District service area, principally during the summer months. GHCSD is currently able to meet existing water demands through the use of its existing water wells; however, in the event that its largest water well is non-functioning GHCSD would not be able to meet peak demands. Additionally, the proposed project will provide a temporary well pumping capacity for use by Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District to supplement its reduced water supply due to the current drought year.
