The project is limited to placement of two 36-inch diameter culverts in a drainage swale (Clear Creek) with associated fill around the culverts. The level on the bottom of the culverts will be below grade for the upstream end of the culverts to avoid undercutting and erosion around the culverts. The downstream ends of the culverts will be at grade and rock armoring will also be placed under the outflows and for a distance of at least 6-feet in the creek bed to act as a flow dissipater. An 18-foot wide road with 2-foot wide shoulders on either side will be constructed above the culverts, crossing perpendicular to the creek. The road will consist of earthen fill topped by at least 6-inches of compacted gravel road base. The crossing of the creek will be approximately 20-feet from bank to bank.
