Document Description
The project consists of a number of landscapped infiltration swales (each of varying lengths, but with a total length of 850-feet) along the ease side of Laurel Canyon Blvd., between Terra Bella St. and Kagel Canyon St. The landscapped infiltration swales will be constructed per the adopted City of Los Angeles Standard Plan #S-482-0 (Parkway Swales in Local/Collector Street). The Project will capture, treat, and infiltrate about 40 acre-feet of water per year (AFY), enough to serve 80 households annually. Area 2 - The project consist of the installation of a dry well located on Kagel Canyon St. adjacent to Interstate 5 (Golden State Freeway). The dry well is designed with dual chambers, one for stormwater capture and the other for stormwater infiltration.
