Document Description
Create a shaded fuel break along Walnut Drive near the Humboldt County Sanitation District water plant in a High Fire Hazard Severity Zone as designated by CalFire in the community of Cutten, CA. The project will reduce the risk of fire danger to residents in the area by decreasing fuel load and fire intensity within the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) area of the State Responsibility Area. The project will also provide safe ingress and egress for residents and emergency response peraonnel, and protect timber and water shed resources.
