This project will reduce fire risk and intensity in the areaand improve access on fire evacuation routes.
Work will remove ladder fuels within 10 feet on either side of the 20 foot wide roadway to create a total fuel break width of 40 feet. Trees less than 6"dbh will be cut low to the ground.
Minor public alterations in the condition of vegetation, which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry purposes.
