Reasons for Exemption
The CEQA Guidelines, Section 15305 Minor Alterations in Land use Limitations Class 5(a) specifies that lot line adjustments that do not result in any changes to land use density are exempt from further environmental review under CEQA. The project consist of a Boundary Line Adjustment to adjust the property lines. Staff reviewed the proposed project and did not find any evidence that special circumstances exist that would create a reasonable possibility that the proposed project will have no significant adverse effect on the environment. Therefore, the proposed project qualifies for the exemption under CEQA Guidelines Section 15305 and no further environmental review is required.
