The finished project will provide a safe ADA compliant path for accessing the newspaper stands and will also connect existing ADA compliant pathways. The improvements will include the installation of a compacted decomposed granite (D.G.) tread surface for the length of the 145 feet, which will be 4' wide to comply with ADA standards. An existing speed limit sign will need to be moved to accommodate the pathway. DPR standard project requirements have been incorporated into this project and can be obtained by contacting the environmental coordinator.
