Document Description
Emergency repair a road slip out on the Alder Camp north access road. The road failed on 15 Feb 2014. This is the only permanent all-weather road that accesses this Conservation Camp. Alder Conservation Camp is operated jointly with Cal Fire and the Californa Department of Corrections and Rehabilitiation (CDCR) and is a 106 bed State prison facility. This project will effect emergency repairs to re-open the road. Work will include removal of slide materials to an existing Cal Trans approved spoils site, stabilizing the failure site, and filling and rebuilding the road base and prism. Cal Fire has a permanent easement for this roadd that includes such repair and maintenance activities.
