- The proposed project is the acquisition of 210 acres in Nevada County, including a main residence and caretaker residence and a lake. The current approval is for the acquisition alone, and no change in use. Following acquisition, the University will continue to evaluate the scope and feasibility of redevelopment of the property as an Alumni Family Camp for use by the California Aggie Alumni Association. Should development costs or project components be determined to make the project infeasible, the University may sell the property. Any future development of the property is conditioned on CEQA compliance.
