Document Description
The proposed project is the 19th annual Open Bay Bass Tournament, which took place at Shelter Island Park on February 1, 2014. The District will provide event sponsorship and financial assistance for the event, a saltwater bass fishing tournament. The event involved approximately 150 two-man teams fishing in the San Diego Bay for approximately six hours then weighing in their fish. After the weigh-in, a barbecue was held at Shelter Island Park, where various sponsors and vendors set up tables to showcase their products. Parking was provided at the parking lots serving Shelter Island Park. The event had an attendance of over 600 people.
