On February 4, 2014, YCWA submitted the TUCP for Permits 15026, 15027, and 15030 to the Division of Water Rights to request a temporary variance in instream flow requirements in the lower Yuba River. The variance would enable YCWA to conseve water in storage at New Bullards Bar Reservoir.
