Major components of the project include the (1) Vincent Siding; (2) a second platform at the Vincent Grade/Action Station; and (3) the relocation of existing utilities, including signals. The siding component of the project would add an additional 4,820 feet to the west end of the existing siding, thereby resulting in an overall usable siding length of 6,200 feet for existing freight traffic. The platform component would consist of a 600-foot long second slab-on-grade platform to the south of the existing platform with a new at-grade pedestrian crossing.
