Reasons for Exemption
The environmental impacts related to this project were previously analyzed in an Environmental Impact Report prepared during the approval of the Calvine Pointe Shopping Center (EG-01-156). The EIR (SCH 2002052038), which was certified on August 10, 2005, identified and analyzed the potentially significant environmental effects of the Project, feasible mitigation measures to avoid and substantially lessen such effects, and alternatives to the Project that may avoid or substantially lessen those effects.
The entitlements requested will not result in any environmental impacts above those addressed within the previous Calvine Pointe EIR. Therefore, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15182 and Public Resources Code Section 21083(3-a), additional CEQA analysis is not required.
