- The project proposes removal of the existing concrete sidewalks and asphaltic concrete (A/C) street surface on Quarantina Street to be replaced with new A/C paving, curbing, and permeable pavers in same location for a distance of approximately 1,100 linear feet. The project involves the following improvements: (1) Removal of approximately 60,000 square feet of existing concrete sidewalk and A/C street surface; (2) Removal of existing base material to a depth of approximately 12 inches; (3) Installation of new base material to same depth; (4) Construction of new curbing for tree well bulbs (pop-outs); (5) Installation of permeable pavers in place of previous concrete sidewalks; (6) Replacement of A/C paving for street surface.
