Document Description
The proposed project involves the temporary installation of two steel storage containers at the parking lot serving the Coronado Ferry Landing leasehold. The two storage containers, which measure 20 feet long by 8 feet wide by 8 feet tall and 16 feet long by 8 feet wide by 8 feet tall, will be used to store miscellaneous items such as holiday decorations, extra chairs, and other miscellaneous items and kayaks, respectively. Installation of the storage containers will not require any earthwork as no foundations will be required. The storage containers will occupy a total of six (6) parking stalls at the far southeast corner of the parking lot. This parking lot currently has an excess of approximately 269 parking stalls due to the lack of parking demand resulting from the undeveloped parcel that the parking lot is intended to serve. The addition of these temporary storage containers will not result in a substantial decrease in availability of parking stall and will therefore not affect the public's ability to access the waterfront.
