Consistent with Governor Brown's Emergency Drought Proclamation, Richvale Irrigation District proposes idling up to 6,400 acres of rice land to make available up to 21,120 acre-feet of water for transfer to buyer or buyers located south of the Bay-Delta. If Richvale Irrigation District's water supplies are curtailed in 2014, it will not participate in a transfer.
