Document Description
As designated in the City of Eureka General Plan, the City of Eureka proposes to construct an approximately 1.17 mile multi-use trail between Tydd Street and Front Street. The trail will serve as both an important non-motorized transportation/commuter corridor and a recreational facility. The proposed project includes the construction of: a new Class I multi-use trail; boardwalk; three bridges; viewing areas and interpretive signs; drainage improvements; fencing; trailheads; lighting; and landscaped buffers. The trails alignment passes through public and private properties. Most of the trail is located within City right-of-way (ROW); however, the City will need to obtain ROW for areas within private property.
