Document Description
The Project involves the removal of the existing water tank, pump station, and associated above ground infrastructure constructed adjacent to Griff Creek. The underground piping will be abandoned in place. The large cut and associated cut slope at the location of the water tank will be filled and regraded to match adjacent natural topography. An existing berm constructed on top of the left bank of the creek when the tank was built will be removed. Removal of select conifers and overgrown willows which inhibit the establishment of riparian grasses and shrubs on the left bank will be performed. Willow stakes and alder will be planted to encourage the growth of riparian vegetation. The existing compacted road will be ripped to eliminate compaction and soil conditioning and revegetation with native grasses, willows, and alders will be implemented.
