Document Description
The proposed Project is the rediversion of water stored in Black Butte Reservoir into the Tehama-Colusa Canal through a Constant Head Orifice located at the intersection of the Tehama-Colusa Canal and Stony Creek, pursuant to State Water Resources Control Board Permit No. 13776. The rediversion involves construction of temporary gravel berms in the Stony Creek creek bed, which divert water into the Stony Creek Constant Head Office (CHO) and then into the Tehama-Colusa Canal. Rediversions will occur only from April 1 through May 15, and from September 15 through October 29 of each year. Annual diversions at the Stony Creek CHO will not exceed 38,293 acre-feet. Rediversions at the CHO have occurred in this manner since 1993.
