Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0003-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Transportation. Caltrans proposes to widen shoulders and construct a 12' wide truck climbing lane on eastbound Interstate 80. The proposed project will include the following features: -Widen shoulders and construct a 12' wide truck climbing lane on eastbound lane; -Extension and replacement of existing drainage facilities and construction of new drainage facilities such as inlets, cross culverts, under-drains, side ditches, and overside drains; -Replacement and relocation of metal beam guard rail and roadside signs; -Widening of Cape Horn undercrossing (Bridge Number 19-0091); -Construction of mountable concrete barrier approaching and through Magra overcrossing to shield bents on right shoulder; -Construction of a retaining wall along Interstate 80 between Magra overcrossing and Alpine overcrossing.
