Document Description
The project will construct westbound and eastbound passing lanes on State Route 180 in Fresno County west of the City of Kerman from Yuba Avenue to Lake Avenue. The project extends 2.5 miles between post mile 36.2 and 38.7. The widening will occur on the north side (westbound), approximately 50 feet from the existing right-of-way line on State Route 180 and would require right-of-way acquisition from 12 parcels. Work consists of adding 12-foot passing lanes with a 14-foot soft median to accommodate a two way left-turn lane and 8-foot-wide outside shoulders in both directions.
