Document Description
The project includes the removal of a gabion basket structure and installation of a 6-inch diameter drainage pipe at 21 Bishop Lane, Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The existing 8-foot long, 5-foot wide and 3-foot high gabion basket installed at the top of the bank of San Franciscquito Creek will be removed by hand and native vegetation will be planted in that location. The drainage pipe will be extended to the lower terrace of the existing retaining wall, and will include placement of a t-pipe and rock energy dissipater at the outfall. The rock dissipater will be ~5 feet long by 5 feet wide and 6 inches deep. The new drainage pipe will act as a secondary drainage system capturing and diverting overflow from the primary drainage system (4-foot deep wells) located in front of capturing and diverting overflow from the primary drainage system located in front of the property.
