Document Description
The hazardous waste to be treated consists of approximately 150,000 pounds of illegal fireworks (Department of Transportation Hazard Class 1.4) in the current statewide inventory plus illegal fireworks that may be seized during the effective permit. The items are seized by the CDFFP during multiple seizure actions and are illegal for sale in California. The emergency permit is effective for 90 days January 27 through April 26, 2014. Treatment will be scheduled depending on weather, logistics and availabliltiy of personnel.
