Document Description
Activities include the annual removal of accumulated sediment from the southeast side of the pond at Sierra Unified School, where a majority of the water enters the pond in the winter months. Equipment will access the Project area by an existing road that comes from the north side of the pond. Project work will occur during the fall when water levels are low and there is no water flowing into the pond, and work will only occur in dry areas of the pond; the Project area is approximately 100 feet by 300 feet. The Project will occur annually until approximately 4400 cubic yards of material area removed. Material that is removed will be deposited at least 100 feet south of the pond, and the sediment will be seeded to prevent erosion
