Document Description
Implement the park and district-wide Prescribed Fire Management Plans to reduce the potential for and spread of wildfires at Big Basin SP and surrounding lands and re-establish natural vegetative seral stages, mosaics and fuel loadings, indicative of a natural fire regime. This project would specifically implement portions of the Prescribed Fire Management Plan for Big Basin Redwoods State Park to reduce fuel along designated control zones and burn those areas adjacent to these control zones where fuel imbalances are identified.
