Repair and replace doors and windows at the Phoebe Hearst Social Hall at Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds to preserve and protect the facility and to comply with the Disabilities Act. Work will: * Remove four worn entry doors, frames, and hardware and replace with new doors, frames and hardware matching existing in type, style, size and material,. * Remove one worn door at Phebe's Cafe' and replace with Dutch door matching existing in type,, size, and material; and * Repair and/or replace as necessary five window frames matching existing in type, style, size, and material.

Repair of existing historic resources in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings (1995), Weeks and Grimmer and the repair or minor alteration of existing structures or features involving no expansion beyond current use and is included as "modifications of existing facilities for access for people with disabilities" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR 15300.4.
