Document Description
Caltrans, using State funds only, proposes to replace the existing storm drainage system and repair the pavement at the Yreka Caltrans maintenance yard in Siskiyou County, 1 mile south of downtown Yreka. The drop inlets (DI), oil water separator and corresponding culverts found in the maintenance station parking lot will be replaced. The culverts will be upsized from 12" to 24", Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culverts. The new system will connect to the city storm-water system at the existing street tie-in. Once the drainage improvements are completed the pavement at the maintenance station will cold planned approximately 0.2' and replace with approximately 0.2' hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay. The maximum depth of soil disturbance will be approximately 8.5 feet.
