Document Description
The City of Dixon WWTF Improvements Project involves construction of secondary treatment at the WWTF. Secondary treatment will be provided by replacing the existing pond treatment with a nitrifying / denitrifying activated sludge process. Construction of a new influent pump station, new headworks with mechanical screening and flow measurement, and new potable water well will be required. Flow equalization to minimize peak flows will be provided by constructing an equalization basin post-secondary treatment. Upgrade of piping and pumping capacities throughout the WWTF and disposal area will be included. Construction will likely occur towards the end of 2014 or in spring 2015 and construction will last approximately 18 months.
