Document Description
The CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0037-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Marysville.
The project is limited to dredging sediment from the Marysville Boat Ramp on the Feather River Dredging activities will be performed using an excavator and dredged materials will be deposited in dump trucks for disposal at an offsite location. A construction barrier, described below, will be used to create a sediment buffer between the active work area and the main river channel.
The project has been designed to occur when water levels are low, with water depths anticipated to be 0-6 feet deep. Prior to accessing the Feather River or initiating dredging activities, the project proposes to install a barrier to minimize turbidity within the main Feather River Channel.
