2014 General Plan Update

The proposed project consists of adoption of an update to the City of Wildomar General Plan. The updated City of Wildomar General Plan would replace the existing General Plan, which was originally adopted in 2003 and revised by the County in 2008 prior to the City's incorporation. The updated City of Wildomar General Plan will be based on the City's currently adopted General Plan, but its tailored to include policies and standards for the provision of public services and infrastructure necessary to support future population growth specific to Wildomar. Beyond the physical needs of future population growth, the General Plan contains design and open space provisions. These provisions provide an important component of the planning process. The effect is a condensed and a concise General Plan that results in policies that better reflect the Wildomar Vision as it exists now. The City is not changing any existing land use designations or circulation patterns as part of this update.
