Document Description
A Precise Development Plan to allow a chemical storage facility (Section 19.40.020.E.2) with chemical transfer and repackaging as an accessory use in the M-3 PD FPS (Heavy Industrial - Precise Development Combining - Floodplain Secondary Combining) District. As proposed, the facility would serve as a warehouse to receive, store, and distribute hazardous and non-hazardous production chemicals. The proposed facility will contain an office (2,100 sf), warehouse (1,800 sf), a covered concrete containment pad/storage area (2,500 sf), three outdoor concrete containment slabs, two monitoring wells, drainage facilities, and railroad spurs. Fifteen parking spaces along with the necessary landscaping as required the applicable Kern County development standards are proposed. The facility will have eleven employees on-site during the hours of operation of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
