Document Description
The proposed project is amending, restating, and combining the existing ILWU lease at an existing marine related industrial facility at the National Distribution Center. The lease is for a portion of the stand-alone building that was formerly occupied by the County Department of of Child Protective Services. The existing ILWU lease is for the entire approximate 20,000 sf office building and associated parking lot. The amended, restated and combined lease would reduce the size of the lease to approximate 4,948 sf of the existing building. The existing lease is for a 5-term that commenced on 12/1/12 and will expire on 11/30/17. The ARC lease would add three option periods, each for an additional consecutive 5-year term. Thus, the total lease would add three option would terminate on 11/30/32. The lease is a joint with the ILWU and Pacifc Maritime Association, jointly referred to as the San Diego Joint Port Relations Committee.
