The California Department of Public Health (Department) is the responsible agency. The Department's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing state funds for the project. Tulare County proposes to complete the following objectives: pre-design engineering work to include the identification of a suitable service area and acquisition of appropriate permits, easements, rights-of-way, and/or property acquisition; create an eligible entity to include preparation of necessary documentation, LAFCO fee payment, and preparation of a 20-year TMF plan; prepare CEQA/NEPA documentation to include cultural and biological surveys, environmental review, preparation and filing of appropriate documents, and payment of applicable fees.
