Document Description
The project iwll entail maintenance of an existing fuel break which was installed on a large flat terrace by CAL FIRE in 2002 and 2005. The fuel break is approximately 14,784 feet (2.8 miles) in length and 150 feet in width for a total 51 acres.
The fuel break area is characterized by very dense to light occurences of brush species composed of rabbit brush, manzanita and mountain mahogany 3 to 4 feet in height with highly scattered Ponderosa pine throughout. The project area contains a Class 1 watercourse and a Class IV watercourse, each of which cross the project foot print at on location.
