Document Description
The proposed work will tie in with an existing fuel break and defensible space created by adjacent homeowners and Cal Fire thereby advancing a network of fire protection corridors along the Redwood Drive community and the Aptos Creek watershed and allowing access for emergency vehicles. The strategic placement of the fuel break provides defense against a conflagration approaching from either east or west, benefitting the entire Redwood Drive community of roughly 250 homes.
