Note: Review per lead Paved taxiway shoulders have exceeded their useful life and are deteriorating. Most taxiway light circuits are old and deteriorated causing outages. Routine maintenance has become increasingly difficult and costly to perform. The Proposed Action is to reconstruct the existing degraded paved shoulders and lighting system and re-grade the unpaved shoulders to meet the following Air Force criteria for airfield lighting and design: - Airfield and Heliport Planning and Design (Unified Facilities Criteria [UFC] 3-260-01) (U.S. Dept. of Defense, 2008) - Visual Air Navigation Facilities (UFC 3-535-01) (U.S. Dept. of Defense, 2005) - Pavement Design for Airfields (UFC 3-535-02) (U.S. Dept. of Defense, 2001)
